Level Up Kids, a program that provides free dental and vision screenings for children without access to these essential services, also plays a crucial role in supporting students. Their mobile unit travels from school to school, ensuring every child receives the care they need. They visited our school to discuss this month's character trait—integrity. Miles of Smiles is dedicated to helping kids and families care for their teeth, and their team loves what they do because it allows them to support children’s health.
During the visit, students designed pinwheel flowers featuring words about helping others—keep an eye out for these as they will soon be displayed outside the school! Additionally, students worked together to create an "Integrity Flower Pot," with petals describing the qualities of integrity.
