My name is Liz Blakley and I graduated with my Elementary Education degree from Missouri Western State University in 2019. For the past 3 years, I have been partnering with schools through a non-profit to provide social emotional education to youth in Downtown KC. This past year I began a literacy program and realize how much I missed the core educational pieces. I have the pleasure of using my experience to intertwine my love of education and social emotional learning. Platte County is my dream school district, not only does my husband also teach in the district but we have led Young Life for Platte County High School for the past 2 years.
