I have been teaching at my alma mater, Platte County School
District, since 2000... making this my 25th year of teaching! I have taught 5th grade, 4th grade, 3rd grade, and 2nd grade! I received a Bachelor's in Elementary Education
from Southwest Missouri State University (now Missouri State University), a
Master's of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Baker University, and a
Master’s of Education in Technology through Park University. As you can see, I love learning new things!
My husband, Tony, and I have 5 daughters; Brooke,
Brittanie, Audrie, Mackenzie, and Kinlie. We enjoy doing family
activities together…whether it is having a game night at home, going to dinner, going to the movies, going to a sporting event, going on vacations, or going camping. I am also a
HUGE KC Chiefs fan, KC Royals fan, and KU Jayhawks fan!
I have high expectations for all students and believe all students can learn! And, with a great partnership between you and me, your child will be very successful and grow as a 2nd grader! I have an open-door policy, so please don't ever hesitate to contact me if you have any questions, comments, or concerns. I am looking forward to another fun and great year!
