My name is Dr. Anna Bohn, and I am proud to serve as the Principal at Pathfinder Elementary! I am originally from the Kansas City area and joined the Pathfinder family as the Assistant Principal in 2018. Prior to being a Pathfinder Pirate, I served as a third grade teacher in Topeka and then taught fourth grade at Siegrist Elementary in the Platte County School District. I received my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from the University of Kansas, and my master's degree in Administration, Education Specialist in Administration, and my Doctorate in Educational Leadership all from William Woods University. My husband, Sebastian, and I live in the Northland with our son (Phillip, born in November of 2023) and our three dogs (Rocky, Stella, and Lily). Sebastian and his family are from Germany, so we enjoy traveling overseas to explore and visit family and friends whenever possible. Outside of education, I am also an avid reader, runner, and competitive synchronized figure skater.

I have been very fortunate to spend the last six years building strong relationships with Pathfinder students, staff, and parents as first the Assistant Principal, then as the Principal. I have a strong passion for early literacy instruction and am LETRS Certified and Orton Gillingham trained. I have worked alongside a team in developing a systematic approach for that instruction at Pathfinder and district-wide.

I believe the foundation of an effective school is relationships and I am so excited to continue building those relationships with Pathfinder students, staff, and families! I can't wait to meet you!

"We Are Learners, We Are Leaders, We Are Pathfinder!"
